What ever happened to truth in journalism?

It has gone they way of the mystic belief journalist do sufficient research on stories.

Sources are taken at their word as if the information from these so-called sources is, in essense, the truth without a scintilla of substantiating proof.

One has to listen to or read the news with a jaundiced eye. Taking into consideration the possible bias of the journalist.

A good example of unsubstantiated reporting has to do with a T V journalist who recently, without checking, went on to broadcast a false story about the current administration.

The false reporting was so bad it cost the so-called journalist four weeks off without pay.

In additional this journalist can no longer report on the President and his administration.

One by one the media's fallacies are uncovered for the lies they are. The news media would do well to seek and report the truth.

False reporting creates suspision and disbelief. It can also produce panic amoung the populace.

It does not produce calm or reasonable thinking.

It is quite difficult to understand why the Senate accepted the "Articles of Impeachment" from the House when none of the rules for equal justice or the presumption of innocence, known as "Due Process" were observed.

Should the Senate have refused to accept the articles, a court hearing may have ensued which eventually would have lead to a judgement in favor of the Senate and the President.

Little of the news today has any relevance to the daily lives of most Americans.

The sources from which the news eminates are usually unreliable

Take heed before you are caught in an never ending trap.

From time to time we are inundated with biased news, Sore losers try aany menas to regain power and status.

The problem is the left and it's biased reporting is doing nothing but destroying the fabric of American Democracy.

We continue to be baradged by the liberal press concerning a matter that is over and had no underlying legal reason for it to start.

The collution probe into the President was a tactic to undermine a duly elected President of the United States because he was not a part of their club. Clickety, clackety, we need to give them a good wackety.

The deep state and the liberal press worked hard to remove the President, but alas all their plans failled. But, the liberals don't want to let go. The liberals (media and politicians) believe Ameicans are stupid and will believe anything they say.

However, many Americans who sided with the liberals are now seeing the true nature of the liberal politicians and press. What was really wanted by these liberals was to take back control of the govnment - raise taxes, increase unemployment and welfare. And, of course fill their pockets with money from dubious sources.

You doubt this? Check the wealth of politicians when they first enter office and their (or their family members) wealth after they have been in office for a few years! Stay tuned for a view

If you claim to be reporters of the news, them report the news, all the news! Reporters should not be selective in what they report to the public

If you are going to editorialize be sure readers know you are stating your opinion and not reporting the news.

The news coverage today is very offbeat. You have those who think everything is wrong and America is doomed. Those who think as such should open thier minds and listen to both sides .

It is the best way to determine who is truthful and who is soewing lies.

Whatever happened to civility in our everyday and political lives? You know, that practice of treating the opposition with dignity and respect. Both sides working together for the benefit of the citizenry.

The news media, along with the hateful citizens and ploiticians spout false narratives instead of commenting and reporting fact based information. In other words, reporting the truth, not innuendos, supositions and or outright lies.

Jealousy and hatred are destroying America's society.

A return to civility and respect is sorely needed to keep America strong.

Americanist stand up for your rights as Americans. Don't let the leftist media and dimmys turn you away from our great country, America, with their hateful and opinionated reporting that is severly lacking any true facts.

Honest, truthfukl reporters check the facts over and over before presenting their stories to the public.

Stories that are unsubstantiated and published by the mainstream media can create doubt in the public's mind about the individual covered in the story.

When proven false these accusations/stories need to be treated as libelous and suject to legal action.

The only way to stop the rampant falsehoods perpetrated on the American public by the liberal press is through the courts.

When a politician makes a promise, it is usually to gain favor from the voters that are being addressed. In times past it was difficult to know exactly what was being promised to whom it was eing promised to.

Today, however, with the news available at supersonic speeds, the voters, if they want to, can access everything the politicians are promising. As a voter if you are attendive you can catch the politicians in outright lies. Its not like it used to be.

The problem is when the politicians are caught in their lies and lose an election, they become unwound and try any means to reverse the election result.

It is time to kick them out of office!
